SitaRamam/SeethaRamam

First things first, i liked it !

For me, this movie isn't realistic. No way near!

This movie is not about patriotism. Don't get fooled.

However, i really liked the way writers expressed themselves through the characters.

It seems writers aimed at establishing Ramam's character with two virtues, Duty and Love. May be that is the reason why they named protagonist after Ram.  While it is very easy to institute "Duty" in a soldier role, it is no cake walk to manifest the other virtue. While protagonist is named Ramam, it is natural to name the lead actress as Sita or Janaki. I'm glad they went with Sita Ramam.

While all the characters have emoted so naturally, it is the conversations between the characters that etched on my memory. I thoroughly enjoyed the conversation between the two lead characters. Sheer poetry! I'm envious of writer who has used simple words to describe Ramam's admiration towards Sita. "మీరు అసలే సీత " This one liner by Ramam manifests Seetha as a paragon of beauty. There were many such occasions where Ramam would make one feel envy with his word play.

Each character has an arc, even though predictable. Rashmika's transformation is bound to happen. Ramam's journey is  on the path of Duty, Righteousness and Sacrifice. Sita's journey is full of thorns and sadness.

While everything is so good about this movie, there is a thorn in the flesh too. I didn't understand why writer want to establish the cast of Sumant's character. There is absolutely no need of "Sarma" jibe. There are few other scenes where writers try to emphasise Vishnu's cast (Brahmin). This is so redundant. Hope it satiated the ego of the writers. Nevertheless, i liked the movie.

Nomadic Inner Life

I let my mind wander wherever it wants — into places judged right or wrong, meaningful or meaningless. Rules have never bound me; it’s not that I reject them, I simply lack the energy or will to follow them. Laziness, perhaps, but also a quiet indifference. Whether it’s daily rituals like pooja or even personal hygiene, I never gave them much importance. Pain or discomfort I endure until it becomes unbearable, only then do I seek help. I accept such things as karma rather than reshaping my lifestyle. I am reckless with myself, not out of rebellion but out of carelessness. I’ve never found a compelling reason to change. When I see organized, disciplined people, I feel happiness for them and a deep respect. Yet I never feel inspired to follow their path. I simply don’t care enough. Maybe some hidden trauma shaped this indifference, dulling my sense of urgency toward life. Or maybe this is just who I am — a wanderer of mind and habit, respecting order but never seeking to own it.  But...

Khairiyat

When i work, often i leave the choice of music to Youtube  and now i'm stuck with this song. While everything sounds so soothing in Arijit's voice, it is the lyric that caught my attention. Agar Ishq Se Hai Mila, Phir Dard Se Kya Gila Is Dard Mein Zindagi Khush-haal Hai, Yeh Dooriyaan Filhaal Hain Writing is an art!
