Nomadic Inner Life

I let my mind wander wherever it wants — into places judged right or wrong, meaningful or meaningless. Rules have never bound me; it’s not that I reject them, I simply lack the energy or will to follow them. Laziness, perhaps, but also a quiet indifference. Whether it’s daily rituals like pooja or even personal hygiene, I never gave them much importance. Pain or discomfort I endure until it becomes unbearable, only then do I seek help. I accept such things as karma rather than reshaping my lifestyle. I am reckless with myself, not out of rebellion but out of carelessness. I’ve never found a compelling reason to change. When I see organized, disciplined people, I feel happiness for them and a deep respect. Yet I never feel inspired to follow their path. I simply don’t care enough. Maybe some hidden trauma shaped this indifference, dulling my sense of urgency toward life. Or maybe this is just who I am — a wanderer of mind and habit, respecting order but never seeking to own it.  But...

TGIF-Inorbit

Inorbit mall. Burrito bowl for lunch. Tastes good. These guys should work on presentation. You can get better food around Hitech City than this place. Again, nice place to sit and chat for hours.

Recover and Hit

Almost two weeks. After recovering from a mysterious Knee Injury.

Drink or Song?

High!  What gives you high? This song or that drink? While my friends were having a drink there was a comment that it is never too late to try. All of a sudden, this song has started playing in my mind. If someone drinks and not wasted to be in this kind of zone, better not drink. That nadaswaram just blends into the rock music and that chorus is mind blowing. Anirudh is a genius!

TGIF- 10 Drowning Street

Ten Drowning Street We were supposed to go to Bikinerwala but landed here.  People usually visit this place for drinks. We went in a group of five and two of us don't partake. Of all of us, people might of thought that we both were drunk.  We have ordered executive thali and for the very first time i came out of restaurant feeling hungry. All i got was a small bowl of jeera rice and Paneer Lababdar. Paneer Lababdar is authentic. First class! I first had this Afghani dish in a dhaba near by our office and it just melted in the mouth. Sex on the plate. Infact, lababdar means strong desire. Whoever named the dish, they did it right.  If there is anything that i liked on par with Lababdar, it is the view.

SitaRamam/SeethaRamam

First things first, i liked it !  For me, this movie isn't realistic. No way near!  This movie is not about patriotism. Don't get fooled.  However, i really liked the way writers expressed themselves through the characters.  It seems writers aimed at establishing Ramam's character with two virtues, Duty and Love. May be that is the reason why they named protagonist after Ram.  While it is very easy to institute "Duty" in a soldier role, it is no cake walk to manifest the other virtue. While protagonist is named Ramam, it is natural to name the lead actress as Sita or Janaki. I'm glad they went with Sita Ramam.   While all the characters have emoted so naturally, it is the conversations between the characters that etched on my memory. I thoroughly enjoyed the conversation between the two lead characters. Sheer poetry! I'm envious of writer who has used simple words to describe Ramam's admiration towards Sita.
