On High

ఇప్పుడే "ఊహలు గుసగుసలాడే " సినిమా పాటలు చూస్తున్నా . They are so romantic. Ten years down the line ఇది చదివి నేను "అదేంటి మరీ లేకి గా రాశాను ?" అని  అనుకోవచ్చు గాక . But, as of now, i'm in trance of those songs. మెలోడీ కి తోడు సాహిత్యం ! శాస్త్రి గారు asusual  గా బ్రహ్మాండంగా రాసేసారు. "ఇంతకంటే వేరే " song  కి  వస్తే : More or less, teenage లో ఉన్నప్పుడు , అందులోనూ for the very first time మనకి  ఒక అమ్మాయి నచ్చినప్పుడు వచ్చే ఆలోచనలని pen లో ink గా పోసి రాసేసారు.

కోపగించి బుంగమూతి పెట్టినా ! నిరాకరించి పళ్ళు నూరి తిట్టినా ! మహాద్బుతం  అనేట్టుగానే ఉంది అనుకున్నా !
"ఇదేదో పిచ్చి కదా మరి ?"  అని ఎవరయినా అంటే , "నిజమే" అని ఒప్పేసుకుంటా అంతే కాని , నీ వెనకనే పడిన మనసుని ఒద్దొద్దు అని నేనేమయినా ఆపగాలనా ?"

పై lyrics , it is not something to be understood. It has to be felt. అంటే నాలాగా ఎప్పుడు పడితే అప్పుడు feel  అవ్వడం  కాదు కాని , college  time  లో more or less అందరూ  ఎవరి గురించో ఒకరి గురించి ఇలా పాటలు పాడకపోయినా , మాటలయితే కచ్చితంగా చెప్పే ఉంటారు . ఇంకా గట్టిగా అడిగితే "నా కళ్ళ తో చూడరా "  అనేవారు.   నేను మా కాలేజీ క్యాంటీన్ సాక్షిగా ఇలాంటివి ఎన్నో విన్నాను, కాకపోతే శాస్త్రి గారు poetic  గా చెప్పారు అంతే .
 PS: Confession to make. Ilantivi nenu kooda baane cheppanu.  Advantage of wife not following your blog is that you can confess your sins (sin మరీ భారం గా ఉంది . నాన్సెన్స్ అనడాని మనసు రావడం లేదు . మధ్యే మార్గం గా ఏదైనా  పదం ఉంటే అదే వేసుకోండి )



ఏం  సందేహం లేదు :
రాసినది అనంత శ్రీరాం .  శాస్త్రి గారికి పోటి అని అనలేము కానీ కుర్రాడు అద్బుతం గా రాస్తున్నాడు . ముఖ్యం గా ఈ పాట  లో అచ్చ తెలుగుతనం వినిపిస్తుంది.

Above all, ఈ songs  ఇంకెవరికి ఇచ్చినా  కళ్యాణ్ మాలిక్  అంత బాగా అయితే ట్యూన్స్ ఇవ్వరు. అద్బుతః !
Some songs just happen.May be i'm on high (by actually going back to my college days)  and giving more credit to these songs. After all, these are definitely good songs if not the best. 


ఇంకా ఈ సినిమా నేను చూడలేదు . రేపు  చూద్దామని గట్టిగా decide అయ్యాను . అయినా నా పిచ్చి గానీ , నేను డిసైడ్  అయితే ఏముంది ? ఆ టైం కి మా అమ్మాయి వచ్చి ఏ  Doremon ఓ  లేక Chota Bheem  ఓ  పెట్టమంటే నోరు మూసుకొని చెయ్యాలి .

When i work, often i leave the choice of music to Youtube  and now i'm stuck with this song. While everything sounds so soothing in Arijit's voice, it is the lyric that caught my attention. Agar Ishq Se Hai Mila, Phir Dard Se Kya Gila Is Dard Mein Zindagi Khush-haal Hai, Yeh Dooriyaan Filhaal Hain Writing is an art!

Was listening to IIlaiyaraja 's Ramana Malai and got addicted to the tune of "BIKSHAIPATHIRAM". Could understand the meaning of the first few lines.
